A site-specific performance combining dance and handpan, created for the event Lesestark! at the Albertinum in Dresden. Inspired by Max Slevogt’s painting Die Tänzerin Marietta di Rigardo, the performance reflects on the vivid presence and ephemeral nature of the dancer’s gesture, echoing across time and space.

Presented within the halls of the museum, the performance became a dialogue between movement, singing, handpan music, and visual art, creates a bridge between contemporary movement and classical painting.

Organised by Städtische Bibliotheken Dresden in collaboration with Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden.
