As part of the Progetto storico Europa module for the 1st Composition Biennium of the Choreography School at the Accademia Nazionale di Danza, Francesca Mommo joined the teaching team as choreography assistant to Olimpia Scardi.

The module offered an in-depth exploration of Jean Cébron’s pedagogical and creative approach through practice-based repertoire classes, composition tasks and movement analysis with a group of emerging choreographers.

For Francesca, returning to the institution where her own dance journey began in 2014 — and from which she graduated in 2017 — made this experience particularly meaningful.
